The Three Divisions
The American Saddle Horse Breeders Futurity of Texas (Amateur Division) will be shown each year in three divisions: Weanlings, Yearlings, and Two-Year-Olds.

What Foals are Eligible
All foals shown must be the produce of stallions and mares who have been previously nominated in the American Saddle Horse Breeders Futurity of Texas (Amateur Division).

How to Nominate the Sire
To nominate a stallion in the Amateur Futurity it is necessary: (1) that the stallion be registered in the American Saddlebred Horse Association, and (2) that a fee of $50.00 be paid to the Futurity on or before June 1, of the year the foal is nominated.

How to Nominate the Dam
To nominate a mare in the Amateur Futurity it is necessary: (1) that the mare be registered in the American Saddlebred Horse Association, and (2) that a fee of $20.00 be paid to the Futurity on or before June 1, of the year in which the foal is born.

How to Make a Weanling Eligible
In order to make a foal eligible to show in the Weanling Division of the Amateur Futurity, the following conditions must be complied with: (1) the sire and dam must be nominated in the Amateur Futurity the year in which the foal is born, (2) the foal must be registered before it can be shown, and to be eligible to show as a yearling and/or a Two-Year-Old, it must have been registered not later than December 31, of the year foaled, (3) the foal must be blood-typed, and (4) $20.00 must be paid to the Futurity on or before June 1, of the year the foal is born. The entries in this division shall be shown In-Hand.

How to Keep the Yearling Eligible
In order to make a colt, filly, or gelding eligible to show in the Yearling division of the Amateur Futurity, the following conditions must be complied with: (1) the colt, filly, or gelding must have been nominated in the Weanling Division of this Amateur Futurity and all conditions and requirements of that Division must have been fulfilled and (2) $20.00 must be paid to the Futurity on or before June 1 of the year following the birth of the foal. The entries in this division shall be shown In-Hand.

How to Keep the Two-Year-Old Eligible
In order to make a colt, filly, or gelding eligible to show in the Two-Year-Old Division of the Amateur Futurity, the following conditions must be complied with: (1) the colt, filly, or gelding must have been nominated in the Weanling and Yearling Divisions of this Amateur Futurity and all conditions and requirements of those divisions must have been fulfilled and (2) $20.00 must be paid to the futurity on or before June 1 of the year the entry becomes a Two-Year-Old. The entries in this division shall be shown In-Hand.

Classes
Weanlings: One Class--10 Places, 5 Moneys.

Yearlings: One Class--10 Places, 5 Moneys.

Two-Year-Olds: One Class--10 Places, 5 Moneys.

How the Prizes are Divided
For the Two-Year-Old Division, the winner will receive 40% of the Prize Fund of the Two-Year-Old Division, second 25%, third 15%, fourth 12-1/2%, and fifth 7-1/2%.

For the Yearling Division, the winner will receive 40% of the Prize Fund of the Yearling Division, second 25%, third 15%, fourth 12-1/2%, and fifth 7-1/2%.

For the Weanling Division, the winner will receive 40% of the Prize Fund of the Weanling Class, second 25%, third 15%, fourth 12-1/2%, and fifth 7-1/2%.

The nominator of the dam of the winning foal in the Weanling Division will receive $50.00 and the nominator of the dam of the second foal in the Weanling division will receive $25.00.

The nominator of the sire of the winning foal of the Weanling Division will received $50.00 and the nominator of the sire of the second foal in the Weanling Division will receive $25.00.

The value of the Prize Fund of the Futurity each year shall be the total amount of money paid in fees, miscellaneous funds, and added donations, less administrative cost. Each year the specific awards to the nominators of the sires and dams will be deducted before the division of the Prize Fund among the three regular divisions of the Futurity.

The administrative cost will be deducted from general receipts.

The Prize Fund shall be divided equally between the Weanling, Yearling, and Two-Year-Old Divisions.

How Paid
All prize money shall be paid within ten days after the show.

Where to Pay Fees
All payments to the Futurity must be made to the office of the American Saddle Horse Breeders Futurity of Texas, on or before the dates herein specified.

Liability
No entry is liable for more than the amount paid in but there will be no return of a payment. The right is reserved to reject any entry, and to debar any entry from competition for failure to comply with the conditions of the Futurity.
