Redwing Farm feels that in Designed we are offering the breeding public an extremely talented young stallion with an outstanding pedigree. In a five generation pedigree he has 18 Broodmare Hal of Fame mares. His dam, Sultan's Dianna is a double copy mare for the "large heart" gene. This means that Designed has this gene. 100% of the mares on Designed's female pedigree carry the "large heart" gene.

 

A lot has been said about Designed's sire. CH Caramac is known as a sire of winning show horses. He has:

CH Caramac comes from the legendary American Saddlebred breeding farm Callaway Hills and descends from the important American Saddlebred stallions Johnny Gillen and Will Shriver.

 

Firmly believing that good breeding horses have outstanding dams, we would like to take this opportunity to give you some facts regarding Designed's dam, Sultan's Dianna. In 2003, Sultan's Dianna was inducted into the Broodmare Hall of Fame as was her dam, Society's Dianna.

 

Sultan's Dianna is a full sister to WGC Sultan's Starina, WC Freedom Hall, WC Desert Prince and the show ring winner, Magic Devil. One of the more exciting young gaited mares of the 1980's, Sultan's Dianna, only had three years in the show ring prior to having her show ring career ended by laminitis, however shoe made a lasting impression on judges and spectators alike.

 

Besides her natural talent and show ring charisma, it is Sultan's Dianna's breeding that we feel is a strong influence on Designed's Ability to sire show ring champions. As a broodmare, Sultan's Dianna has followed in the footsteps of her Broodmare Hall of Fame dam, along with WC Designed she is the dam of RWC Radiant Dianna, RWC CH Fatal Charm, RWC Delicious and National winners Arctic Lites, Lite Show and the decease show ring champion Remember Dianna.

 

Sultan's Dianna's daughters are taking her broodmare power to the second generation. CH Fatal Charm, by Radiant Sultan, is the dam of Telling Secrets (2005 Bluegrass Futurity Weanling Champion). Radiant Dianna, by Radiant Sultan, is the dam of World Champion Juvenile Three-Gaited mare, Aurora Borealis. Dianna's Treasure, by Rare Treasure, is the dam of Phind The Treasure (2005 Wisconsin Futurity Weanling Champion and third a the 2005 Bluegrass Futurity Weanling Championship). You Look Radiant, by Radiant Sultan, is the dam of Gloria Vanderbilt (World Champion Three-Year-Old Three-Gaited). Dianna's Song is the dam of Mystery Guest (Champion Park Horse) and Radiant Future (Champion Show Pleasure Horse).

 

Through her dam, Sultan's Dianna, brings a mixture of Society Rex and San Juan, along with 55 crosses to Black Squirrel. It is those bloodlines that made Sultan's Dianna such a remarkable individual and they have been carried forward through her son, Designed.

 

Designed won in three divisions: Fine Harness, Five-Gaited and Three-Gaited.
